One Target One Dream is a refugee archery programme in Lausanne. We back talented young refugees to become real competitors, with LA28 on the horizon.

A new future, one arrow at a time
We give young refugees in Lausanne professional coaching and equipment, plus a team to belong to. From there, a real pathway into competition opens up.
What archery builds
For a young person far from home, archery is a way to focus and belong. It builds four things that matter as much off the range as on it.
Integration
Athletes train alongside local club members. They become teammates fast, and belonging follows from the shared work.
Confidence
Archery rewards focus and calm. Every good arrow builds belief, and that belief shows up off the range too.
Discipline
Regular training builds discipline. Showing up on time and following a plan becomes second nature, and the progress feels earned.
Opportunity
World-class coaching and equipment, all free of charge. And a genuine pathway into national and international competition.
The road to LA28
LA28 is the dream. The daily work is the progress. This is the path, and we're honest about it: taking part is the ambition, never a promise.
2026: first competitions
Indoor nationals first, then the move outdoors. The athletes start competing in national events across Switzerland.
2027: selection events
National and regional competition, then international selection events on the road to the Refugee Olympic Team.
2028: the Olympic horizon
Up to four international competitions. And if the level is there, a place at the LA28 Games. The ambition is real, the guarantee isn't.

In May 2025, more than fifty refugees came to Lausanne to try archery for the first time.

The programme launches in Lausanne
On 2 June 2025, twelve selected refugee archers began training with the programme at the X10 Archers Club in Lausanne.
